ING Bank Mini Webshop
Exclusively for Dutch employees of ING Bank, T-Mobile developed a mini-webshop with some special offers and deals. Even though the webshop was small it contained a complete customer journey with default shop pages like Product Overview Pages, Product Detail Pages, and a Shopping Cart.
The webshop was primarly ment for ING employees who were not a T-Mobile customer yet. They were addressed as Starters.
Freelance Graphic Designer Michiel Nagtegaal (Designia) was given a carte blanche while designing the shop. The briefing contained only one major requirement; make sure the webshop is 'on brand' with T-Mobile.
To communicate this unique joint promotion with ING Bank and make sure ING staff would 'feel at home', Designia invented the concept of a young lion, partly magenta colored. ING has a lion in its brand mark. By taking a young lion, the image would communicate 'starting' as new T-Mobile customer. By using T-Mobile's striking magenta color as a gradient in the fur of the youn lion, the lion would partly 'become' T-Mobile.
Designia was asked to design a mini webshop for T-Mobile selling special offers and deals exclusively to ING Bank employees.
